At this year’s GfT symposium, Dr. Markus Grebe held the laudation for our former and long-time institute director Prof. Dr.-Ing. Paul Feinle, who was awarded the Georg Vogelpohl Medal of Honor for his life’s work.

In addition, we contributed to the program of the 63rd Tribology Symposium with three scientific presentations:
- “Investigation of the influence of thickener degeneration of lithium- and urea-based greases on their lubricating effect” (Michael Ruland).
- “Test methods for evaluating the energy efficiency of various base fluids and lubricating oils in high-speed rolling bearings” (Dr. Markus Grebe).
- “Behavior of cam rollers under different transverse slip conditions” (Knud-Ole Karlson).
