EXPERIENCE
The institute has been offering tribological services since 1995. Our 18 employees have a total of 223 years of tribology experience!
All employees in contract research are mechanical engineers. With the know-how we have gained from a wide range of contract and research work, we will be happy to assist you in preparing and carrying out your individual tribological tests.

COMPETENT
Our employees are involved in numerous national and international standardization and technical committees. The knowledge acquired here flows directly into testing practice. Our expertise in the standard-compliant implementation of test specifications is also secured through our involvement in the committees of DIN, VDI, ASTM, DVM, DGM and the Society for Tribology (GfT) and made available to a wide audience at specialist conferences.

INDEPENDENT and OBJECTIVE
We guarantee strict independence from the client and other companies for all our in-house tests. The standard-compliant execution of the tests and the objective scientific evaluation of the results are the benchmark of our work. You can always rest assured that your data will be treated with strict confidentiality.

A confidentiality agreement is therefore a matter of course. Only at your request will we make representations to third parties in order to arrive at an optimal solution to your concern. This is also a strength of the competence center: excellent contacts to all common lubricant, additive and bearing manufacturers, coating companies as well as to experienced tribologists from practice and other research institutes.
