Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (Bruker Vertex 70)

The Fourier – Transform – Infrared Spectrometer Vertex 70 from Bruker is used for quantitative determination of known substances by means of identification through a reference spectrum or for structure elucidation of unknown substances.

The VERTEX 70 is a fully digital FT-IR spectrometer for demanding R&D applications. Data acquisition is performed by parallel 2-channel A/D converters with 24-bit dynamic range integrated in the electronics of the detector preamplifiers. The standard spectral resolution of < 0.4 cm-1is quite sufficient for almost all FT-IR measurements of solid, liquid or gaseous samples.
