requirements of ASTM D4170 &#8220;Standard Test Method for Fretting Wear Protection by Lubricating Greases&#8221;. In addition to the standard test bearings, tests can also be carried out with the bearing type 51206 known from the SNR-FEB2 test. Frequency, load and stroke can be variably adjusted.<br \/>The tester uses two special axial deep groove ball bearings, lubricated with the lubricant to be tested, and oscillates at an angle of 12\u00b0 at a frequency of 30.0 Hz under a constant load of 2450 N (550 lbf) for 22 hours at room temperature. <br \/>The wear is determined by measuring the mass loss of the bearing races.
