behavior of hydraulic fluids in a vane pump (DIN 51 389 Parts 1 and 2). <\/p>\n<p>The hydraulic fluid to be tested is circulated in a test rig by a vane pump at a specific temperature and pressure. The 12 blades slide on the ring mainly in the area of mixed friction. The contact force results largely from the pressure of the hydraulic fluid.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2010, a newly developed hydraulic pump test rig has been in operation, specially adapted to the new standard test pumps from Conestoga (USA).
